strength and machinability, plus good Tin (Sn) 11 - 13%
corrosion resistance. Zinc (Zn) 0.30% max

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: Nickel (Ni) 0.50% max

Heavy duty gears, bearings, bushes, worm Lead (Pb) 0.25% max
wheels, general engineering components
requiring good strength coupled with high shock Phosphorus (P) 0.15 0.8%
resistance. Aluminium (Al) 0.005% max

PRODUCTION RANGE: Iron (Fe) 0.15% max
