FIRST SCENE
batang charity: *walks and sit beside barnum*
batang barnum: how'd you get out?
batang charity: the window. *sigh* father is sending me
to finishing school... i don't know what my future will
be.
batang barnum: i do

A world that's waiting up for me

batang barnum: *watching the bread*

some lady: *buying a bread*
old man: *gives bread*
I think of what the world could be
batang barnum: *steals bread*
old man: hey!
batang barnum: *runs*
old man: *catch him and gets back the bread*
A vision of the one I see

batang barnum: no!
It's gonna take
A million dreams for the world we're gonna make
old lady: *gives barnum an apple*
batang barnum: *gets it*
old lady: *leaves*
all: *throw newspapers at trashbin beside barnum*
batang barnum: newspaper! amazing stories from
around the world!
barnum: sir, i.. i know i don't come from much, but.. i
will take care of your daughter, and i will give her a life,
as grand as this one.
charity: *walks down*
charity's mom: *wears jacket to charity*
charity: bye, mother.
charity's dad: she'll be back. sooner or later, she'll tire of
your life.. of having nothing, and she'll come running
back home.
FOURTH SCENE:
barnum: Every night I lie in bed
