year’s Prowler European Porn Awards?
Well, the real excitement this year is having
Europe coming to London. The Prowler European
Porn Awards have always been UK centered but
this year by throwing them open to the cream of
European talent we are recognising the strength
of the gay porn industry. Last year's event at FIRE
was an outstanding success and so it was an easy
decision to have the fifth awards in the heart
of the Vauxhall gay scene again. I regularly talk
to many of the European studios and perform-
ers and they are as excited as we are about the
evening. Everyone has their personal favorite,
but I think the Prowler European Porn Awards
now sets the standard for the whole industry.
Why is this such an important night
for the gay porn world?
Probably because the whole event seems more
like one big social gathering, one vibrant party
where Porn Stars, directors, fans, industry sup-
porters and friends, meet in a relaxed and very
friendly atmosphere to celebrate what we see
as the best of the gay porn world. The awards
have grown along with the support. Last year
the atmosphere was something I can't remem-
ber experiencing before. There was a buzz with
so many people who knew each other and so
many new people to talk and socialise with.
That continued through to the after-party
and I am certain there, like last year, this one
will definitely be one of the highlights of the
whole evening! The gay porn world is still
vibrant and we are recognising the existing
and future talent from right across Europe.
What was your favorite moment
from last year’s awards?
We all have our personal likes but one of mine
was seeing Mr.Pam in action and the ease and
style in which she operates. The host is always
one of the most important parts of any award
night and the way she worked the stage; kept
the atmosphere electric and interacted with
the winners was so impressive.You only had
to look at the way the winners almost jumped
up on the stage to collect their awards and
be photographed with her. She has the most
amazing smile and I don't think I've ever seen
anyone so natural or alive in front of a camera!
Why did you open up the nominations
to all of Europe this year?
Well, it was nothing to do with Brexit! The gay
porn industry is growing with new perform-
ers and studios, new supporters and fans who
appreciate so many talented young guys - and
some great older ones - making some of the
best gay porn you can find. But it was very
obvious to us after last year that there was
a real desire from studios and performers in
mainland Europe to be involved in the awards.
Look at the talented guys who are the cream
of the crop: guys from Spain, Germany, the Czech
Republic, the Netherlands and France. They are
as important as the UK talent and the European
studios are producing scenes that are getting us all
excited. So why not ask them to join us and reward
them as we have been doing with UK talent? In the
UK there is an increasing array of talent coming

and it is exactly the same in Europe. Rather than
concentrate on what we have, we are expand-
ing in every way and saying to people "there is
more to come, so come and experience it."
Which performers are going to be coming along?
This year we have the legendary Chi Chi LaRue
