We all have to take responsibility for the quality of life in developing countries: we can’t just leave

it to our governments.
I agree that we must take personal responsibility to improve the quality of life for people in
developing countries. As far as I am concerned, we leave all kinds of things to our governments
when we could actually do a great deal ourselves.

The main problem that developing countries face relate to environment of the economy. Individuals
in developed countries can help in both situations.

For example, there has recently been a huge earthquake in Haiti, and flooding in Bangladesh.
Governments have been rescuing people from danger and get them back on their feet. But what has
helped the most are the financial donations from individuals, as well as trained professionals giving
up their time to go up to those countries and help.

Secondly, we can choose to buy fair trade products, which directly help farmers in developing
countries. By choosing where we are spending our money, we can support people’s livelihoods,
which our governments don’t always bother about. We can also make donations to charity, and
support specific projects such as schools in villages, financially.

In conclusion, everyone should be aware of the choices they make and take responsibility for their
actions.
Do you think the consumer should avoid over packed products or it is the responsibility of the
producer to avoid extra packaging of products?” Give your views or any relevant example with
your own experience.
Over packaging of products has become a trend in todays’ competitive world. Producers are trying to
attract consumers with attractive packaging of their products, not bothered about its negative
impact not only on our environment but the users as well. It should be the responsibility of the
producers to limit the wastage of the resources in the form of un-necessary packaging.

The cost of over packaging actually added to the product sold, most of the time it is seen that
packing cost and the durability is more than the product itself. For instance in pharmaceutical
industry, tablets and pills are found to be packed in much bigger and colourful strips than needed.
The answer for the question, “does this increase the sales of medicines” is “No”. Such packaging is of
no concern to the consumers. Although, the cost of medicine would have definitely been lesser if it
is sold in a simpler outlook.

Further, most of the materials used on the external packing is non disposable which adds to the
environment pollution to a great extent. Snacks and other food items which are packed in eye-
catchy shimmery coloured packets are consumed by large scale by everyone around the world. Such
packets are really difficult to dispose as they emit poisonous gas if burnt and if not can be seen to
pollute water streams. Producers should realize the importance of recycling and using papers and
stick to simple packaging.

Packaging as seen increases the cost of product and also makes our environment unhealthy. So this
packaging boom should be checked on a serious note by the producers. Moreover, manufacturers
should be restricted with the predefined rules and parameters set by the government. It is also
recommended that users should be aware and give more importance to the quality of the product
rather than the packing of the product.
Many people think regions affect successful persons. What is your opinion about native regions
and accomplished person influence on the regions they belong to?
Many people argue that success of people depends upon the environment in which he or she has
grown up. However, in my opinion, native place’s environment is only one factor and a persons’
attitude, capability and determination plays a vital role in achieving success.

Native environment plays an important role inculcating traits such as leadership, social skills etc.
These qualities are acquired by an individual over the time. Behaviour of the people in
neighbourhood, school and high school friends significantly make a huge impact on behaviour and
skill of an individual. For instance, Mahatma Gandhi, the famous Indian leader obtained most of his
leadership skill from the people with whom he spent his childhood time.

On the other hand, it is not only the native region that is responsible for the development of an
individual’s success, but also there are features such as determination, hardworking, capability,
eager to learn, accepting the challenges and many other personal skills influence the success of an
individual. For example, Steve Jobs, former CEO of the Apple Inc. moved from the village in California
where he born, and stabilized as an entrepreneur in United States, proves that rather the skills he
received from his native environment, his courage and commitment are the pillars of the success of
his life.

To conclude, only native environment may not be behind and individuals’ success. There are several
other facts takes a person towards victory.
The environment we are living in is in danger due to various problems…so who do u think should
be responsible for solving it? Is it the governments, organization or each individual?
No one can overlay the fact that the planet we live in is at serious threat. Increasing number of
natural calamities like Tsunami, earthquakes, floods and hurricanes have given us repeated warning
signals. Government, corporates and individuals must work together to fight this by fostering organic
lifestyle. This essay will outline causes, responsibilities and solution of the issue.

Our environment has been seriously afflicted because of two main reasons. Firstly, rapid
industrialisation has led to massive deforestation. Secondly, urbanisation of rural areas to support
industries has augmented CO2 emission. Due to these issues our planet has witnessed serious
natural disasters that never existed before. It is everyone’s responsibility as some day or the other
everyone will have to face the pangs of our own deeds. Since the government has the most power to
design policies that will restrict such deforestation and industrialisation, they should take the
responsibility to fight this issue.

Since we are all in this mess together, we have to take collective steps in order to curtail global
warming. Authorities should make strict laws against environment polluters. Companies should
move towards producing recyclable and eco-friendly products. As an individual, we have power to
make conscious choice towards organic lifestyle, we must excel is all possible options.

In a nutshell, we have created this problem and we are responsible for it together. So only collective
measures towards living in harmony with nature will solve our problems. Thus, it is necessary for
individual s, corporates and lawmakers to work hand in hand to combat this problem.
Large shopping malls are replacing small shops. Your opinion? Good or bad
Large shopping malls are replacing small shops. What is your opinion about this? Discuss with
appropriate examples. Shopping is an activity of everybody’s daily life. Be it groceries, clothing, or
home products every one of us visits shops. With the changing lifestyles, many people prefer
shopping in large malls than in small shops.

There are numerous advantages of large shopping malls. Firstly, there are numerous shops and
brands present under one roof. Hence, people can buy whatever they like at one stop. This is very
convenient for those who are working as it saves a lot of their time. Secondly, there are built in
parking spaces and thus people need not park their vehicles at a distance and walk to these shops.

Nevertheless, there are disadvantages of these malls too. Many people are tempted to buy things
that are not required and hence increase their monthly expenditure. There are many fast food
centres which lure children into eating unhealthy food. On holidays and weekends a lot of people
visit malls due to which parking spaces are full. This results in parking of vehicles on roads or in front
of other shops and houses resulting in traffic and disturbance to shop keepers as well as nearby
residents. Local shopkeepers who earrn their daily bread and butter face a hard time as only a few
customers buy products from their shops. This affects the local economy.

To conclude, there are benefits of having large shopping malls, but they do not outweigh the
disadvantages and therefore I believe that large shopping malls should not replace small shops.
Company’s top level authorities should get their employees in decision making process. Discuss
Organizations are designed and run by the group of people. Top management and the employees
club together to make a successful and profitable company. Companies successes are not
serendipitous incidents. The contribution of management and its employees are very crucial in
making the company prominent among others in the industry. Therefore while making decisions and
policies the top management should also consider the employees who are giving adroit and
remarkable efforts.

The employees who are part of the running business and are playing active role in achieving
company’s goals and objectives should be considered while make important decisions. The
employees who are immense experienced can give more innovative ideas for bright future of the
organization. In most of the business the employees are facing business clients and therefore they
can make better decisions to improve business productivity. Employee empowerment will bless
more innovate ideas to grow and improve business cycle.

In contrary, few people are not convinced with the employee empowerment because the plausibility
of an employee will be difficult. They believe that if decision and policies right will be given to
employees then they may misuse and may take decisions for their personal favor. It will deteriorate
company goals and objectives and may diminish the business growth and profits.

In conclusion, the employee empowerment will appreciate and accelerate the business productivity
if decisions are made in right directions but in contrast if it goes in wrong way then the organizations
future will be in danger.
Roles of governments, companies and individuals to combat climate change
Our world is God gifted heaven and the environment is very well balanced. In the 21st century, man
have made rapid progress and science discovered comfort and luxury ways of life for human. The
discovery of fuel which is one of the major reason of green house gases emission, though it provided
human rapid progress but it is also alarming the world environment by global warming.

The emission of gases from industries, cars and other sources are making detrimental effects on
world climate. The glaciers are being melt in result the rise of sea level, which will change the life
style of people living on the earth. The government role is pivotal to control these emission of
poisoned gases in the atmosphere. The governments should encourage the use of public
transportation to avert the use of cars to mitigate the risks of dangerous emission of gases in the
atmosphere. The government should invest and appreciate the natural resources of fuel which do
not involve the burning of fossils to ameliorate the global climate.

The individual responsibility to control the climate effects is also a pivotal factor to restrain the
current conditions. The governments can only impose of laws but it the duty of individual to own the
responsibility and make the world less polluted with hazards of dangerous emission of gases.

In conclusion, the underlying issues of emission of gases are severely affecting the global climate.
The government and controlling authorities need to restrict laws to save healthy environment and
diminish the hazards of global warming. Both the authorities and individual cooperation will give a
positive result.
The mass media including TV, Radio and newspaper influence our society and shape our opinions
and characters. What is your opinion?
Mass media has a profound effect in shaping our lives, it can change the belief and life style of
people. The influence of media in 21st century has multiple forms which starts from 200 years back
from printing media now to electronic, TV, social, Internet and other types. Media has very powerful
effect and can change the perception and thoughts but few people disagree with this opinion about
media.

Media is playing a pivotal role in changing minds, therefore it is being used for multiple purposes.
The notion of using it to for election campaigns to get more favor from the voters to caste vote in
favor to win the election. Social media is one of the prominent, which is in use of ample number of
people. Media plays a vital role in getting information and updates about the current affairs and
conditions about different parts of the world. The c

In contrary, the media is also being used by the people to give their personal opinions. It has been
proliferated among different group of people such as politicians who give their opinions without
showing their presence of controlling the channel. It mislead to get more prominent for personal
reason against other rivals belong to different walks of life.

In conclusion, the media is a blessing to know our world news. Hence media is a blessing if deliver
unbiased information and It would be much better off if the media is use for positive purpose and
deliver the correct information the people.
In under developed countries, tourism has disadvantages and can be said the opposite as well.
Tourism for any country is a good source of income. But countries which are not well developed,
may face problems due tourists too.

Firstly with the rise in the number of tourists visiting a country, the infrastructure of the country
develops. The transportation facilities are developed so that the tourist attraction spots are easily
accessible. Hotels, lodges, shops and supermarkets are also built in these locations so that all the
needs of stay and food are available to the visitors. Secondly, it helps open new avenues of income
to the local people. They get jobs in the hotels and shops and hence helps the people earn their daily
bread and butter.

Nevertheless, there are disadvantages to it too, especially to the under developed nations. For
example, the tourists throw waste and rubbish around resulting in environmental pollution. There
are increased chances of crimes in such locations as some local people try to steal foreign items from
the visitors while some may fool them into buying things which are not worth the price. The local
flora and fauna of the places is disturbed as jungles and forests are destroyed to build buildings and
transportation.

To conclude, I agree that as a country’s tourism flourishes it creates opportunities for employment,
adds to the financial income and development of regions, but it also results in pollution, crime and
deforestation. Therefore, countries should take measures to reduce the disadvantages and help the
country benefit through this sector.
