Project : Composition with Circular and Curved objects

Background:

After two-dimensional composition we like to try our abilities with three-dimensional

objects. In this case students are to collect circular and curved / twisted materials from
whatever sources those are available. Normally left-over materials are more suitable.

There can be play of dots and circles with coiled or twisted objects being connecting or
intermediary elements. With dots and lines, possibilities were unlimited. But in the
present proposal or solution, one has to work with some limitations. Sometime it is said
“limitation is design.”

This tantamount to coming up with a pleasant composition with whatever you have.
However you can always look for more materials and add to your design. The design has
to have a finished look.

Project brief:

Students are to compose with dots, circles and curved lines of varied sizes and shapes on
the base.
