 ColpoITPro Medical Imaging Software
Installation Guide

 Overview
ColpoITPro Medical imaging software is easy to use, functionally rich
software solution for medical professionals and requires no additional
learning for use. It can be save images in analog format such as BMP,
JPEG and also it saves images and reports in DICOM format. It has facil-
ity to send and receive DICOM images to centralized server and DICOM
modalities. It helps in saving printer ink and cut cost using intelligent
image cropping feature during reporting.

 Before going to installation you should have

Installation CD Dongle

*Note: i) The above contents are bundled in the package.

ii) Without Dongle device, the application cannot be
Opened.
Important: Video capture card is must. ColpoITPro accepts any USB
or PCI type capture card. Please make sure that video capture card
driver has been installed properly.

 Installing ColpoITPro
 Double click on “setup.exe” file.
 Click “Accept” button to install DotNet Framework 3.5.Please wait
while it installs and then click “Next” button.
 Select “I Agree” and click “Next” button.

 Leave default path “C:\program files\AmbalSoft\ColpoITPro
Software\” and click “Next” button.
 Click “Next” button so installation continues.

 Select language and click “ok” button

 Click “ok” button to install FFDShow CODEC package.

 Keep FFDShow settings as default and then click “Next” button to

continue.
 After successful installation, Click “Close” button to finish.
 ColpoITPro software has been successfully installed and icon is cre-
ated on the desktop

  Before opening the application connect the “Dongle” device in the
USB port*.
 Double click on ”ColpoITPro icon”.
 Type Login ID as “Admin” and Login password as “cpadmin” then
click login button and ensure that you are presented in the patient
information screen. (Main Screen)
Application Menu

 Click application menu on the top-left corner and click “Options”

button. Set folder path or leave it as default & select the executable
file path for Tools (MS-Paint, Movie maker, PowerPoint, Adobe
Reader& Audio editor).

 Add a Sample patient and click “Capture Image” button from the
tool bar to capture images alone or click “Capture Video” to record
videos and capture images simultaneously.

 After adding a new patient, you are presented in the preview
screen.

 In the Video Preview screen, click on “Settings” Click “Device settings”

button on top left side for setting the video source-device, type, size
and video standard (Preferred video size is352x288).

 Then click on “Image Capture” setting and select image format as

DICOM and BMP or JPEG format.

 Capture some images and click on “Configure Report” button and
set report header details of your organization.

 Click “Preview Report” button and select images for print by

double clicking on the image thumbnails .
 Fill up doctor details and click “Generate Report” button to get
report.

 After printing the report close the report windows and select tools
tab .

  Now click on “DICOM Send To Server” button to configure the set-
tings about the Remote DICOM server.
 By default ColpoITPro AE title is ColpoITProAE. Then type the PACS
information like RemoteAE, Remote Host and Remote Port number.

 Installing ColpoITPro Training Videos

 Insert ColpoITPro installer CD, close the auto run video file.
 Double click on “My Computer” and open CD Drive
 Run “SetupTrainingVideos.msi” file to install training videos.

 Click Next to continue the installation
 Leave it as default path to install ColpoITPro Training videos.
 ColpoITPro have a set of training videos to help learn and use the software
with ease.
 Click Training videos in “Help” tab. Select your desired video and click “Play
Selected” to play a training video.
 Training videos can also be accessed using “Start->Programs ->AmbalSoft-
>Show Training Videos” link.

System Requirements:
 Intel i3, i5, or i7 with minimum 2GHz speed.
 4GB RAM (Higher Memory will result in better Performance)
 320GB or 500GB Hard Disc.
 CD/DVD Drive.
 4 No's USB Port. (For Printer, License Dongle, Capture Card
& Foot pedal– if available)
 Color printer (Deskjet or LaserJet) for taking report printout.
 Operating System: Windows 7 or Windows 8.
 Internet Connection. (For email feature and online technical
support)
