    Sight Word Intervention

    Procedure:
    Introduce 1 -3 sight words per week.

    1. Take sight word form, complete with known words and 1 -3


    unknown words in each row.
    2. Show each new sight word on an index card.
    3. Have students trace and say the letters and the word.
    4. Use the word in a sentence to ensure meaning.
    5. Find and frame the word in each row of words.
    6. Read all words (known and unknown) left to right in each row.
    7. Error Correction:Trace and say error 3 times on the index card.
