Dear Parents,

Hello, my name is Kristene Daugaard and I will be your child’s Special Education
teacher this year. I am so excited to meet you and your child and get to know you
better. This year I plan to help your child achieve their IEP goals, support them when
they need the help, and to get to know them well. I hope that your child will be
comfortable coming to me for any issues they may have come up or just to tell stories. I
plan to have reading goals for them to accomplish for each quarter as well as a party for
them at the end of the quarter for completing their reading goals. I also plan on having
parent volunteers in the room to help see how your child does and for you to feel like
you can help them learn at school as well.
