Problem Statement
The objective of this problem is to develop a device that allows a user to
remotely control garage using a cell phone. This system will be a powerful and flexible tool that
will offer this service at any from anywhere with a constraints of the technologies being applied

Purposed Solution
The proposed approach for designing this system is to implement a system, which receives its
instructions and commands from a cellular device . It carries out and open and close the garage
automatically

Working:
it works on the principal of sensors when the car comes the first sensor work and open the
main door and when the car comes in and the second sensor works and motor driver helps the
motor to work and it ground the wire and give it the movement and when the car cames In the
door closes automatically

Motor & Gears: The motor is typically about a 1/2-hp, 6-amp machine
hooked to a 120-volt outlet—that's all it takes to overcome the
inertia of a stopped door. The machine also slows a door in transit,
preventing it from crashing to the garage floor.

2. Drive Guide: This track (aka the T-rail) guides and shields the
chain, screw or belt as it moves the door open and closed. It
connects the operator to the trolley, which in turn is connected to
the door.

3. Height Adjustment: Operator settings determine the distance the

door travels. The machine kicks in to arrest the door's motion or to
make adjustments if a door isn't opening or closing completely. The
force of the door's motion can also be adjusted so the door stops
moving if grabbed.

4. Inverter & Battery: To allow smaller, more efficient motors, most

garage-door operators use DC current. An inverter switches
household AC power to DC, which is also used to charge a battery
backup system that kicks in when the power is out.

Advantages of Automatic Garage system

The advantages of automatic garage system are

 It can be controlled from anywhere.

 It can automatically open the door of garage and close it.
 Its cost is very low compare to other technologies
 It is very much effective in daily life
Limitations

 It is being controlled by a single remote

Conclusion
From this project, I learn how the decoder does converts signals into binary codes
and how it turn ON/OFF the appliances using theses binary codes. It is a simple project but it has
huge applications and can be used at various places. I have learned a lot in this project. Learned
about its different components and their working.
