Objective: You will be able to describe and calculate the relations between
volume and temperature for Charles' Law
MATERIALS:
Flasks
Hot Plate
Balloon
Water (75 mL)
Ice
Cooler
PROCEDURES:
1. Turn on the hot plate and place the ice on the cooler
2. Pour 75 ml of water into the flask
3. Place the balloon on the opening of the flask
4. Place the flask carefully into the hot plate
5. Once the balloon has expanded carefully move it into the cooler
6. Observe

1. What happen to the balloon when placed on the hot plate? Why?

Would making a modification on the amount of water used change the results?
