During the past twenty years or so a number of important engineering (improvement) Technology
(making) in the design of cargo ships.
In the first place, cargo ships of all types are now more (faster) than they use (were) before. This
progresive (is) partly because of technology (improvement) machinery and partly because of
engineering (improvement) in hull design.
Secondly, cargo ships … (be) much … (larger) in size nowadays. One reason for this impact (increase) in
size … (be) that it … (be) more … (economy) … (run) one large ship than two … (small) ones. Another
reason … (be) that ports all over the world …(be) constantly … (be improve). A third reason … (be) that …
(improve) in ship dry dock (construction) make it possible for (building) larger ships.
Another engineering (improvement) in ship design causes (on) the improved use of hull space. More
room for cargo hold (will be gain) by move (of) the engine room and bridge super-structure at the after
end of the ship. More rooms for passengers in passenger ships will (be gain) by (reducing) the number of
classes.
Finally, there adventage (are) a dwelling time (reduced) in the time loading (necessary) to load and
unload cargo.

B. Make an abstract in about 200 words

Modification diesel engine 2 stroke to CNG diesel dual fuel engine 2 stroke
ABSTRACT
Conventional 2 stroke diesel engines that use petroleum fuels produce air pollution to
pollute the environment, and therefore many engine makers produce engines with dual fuel
(natural gas and petroleum), But the process of replacing the main engine on the existing ship
requires a lot of time and cost investment, so that as an alternative can be modified to the engine
into a dual fuel engine by adding several components.
This technology uses natural gas as primary fuel and neat diesel as pilot fuel there are
some components must be install to supply the required gas fuel include CNG cylinder, Gas
admission valves, ComAp electromagnetic valves control unit INCON, ComAp Bi-Fuel
automatic control unit InteliSysNT BF, Safety valve(s) for air filling manifold, ComAp bi-fuel
governor ECON, Gas train (gas manifold, gas governor, double closing valve, filter, ball valve,
etc.), and ComAp knocking detector/controller DENOX.
By using dual fuel engine it can less produce air pollution and has simple design to be
applied in existing diesel engine, and for the perfomance of dual fuel engine it will change
causes of natural gas as dual fuel has different properties than fuel oil.
