7TH GRADE SCIENCE CHOICE BOARD

Body Systems
Dates: April 20 - April 26, 2020

Learning Outcomes:

1) Students will distinguish BETWEEN PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL CHANGES IN MATTER, especially in the
digestive system.

2) Students will identify MAIN FUNCTIONS AND STRUCTURES OF THE SYSTEMS OF THE HUMAN
ORGANISM

3) Students will be able to demonstrate, illustrate FORCES THAT AFFECT MOTION IN ORGANISMS (i.e.
Heart pumping blood, muscles pulling bones, etc.)

4) Students will describe how the body systems react to external and internal stimuli to maintain homeostasis.

Instructions:​ You will turn in 3 assignments. The Box highlighted in Yellow is REQUIRED to be completed. You will
choose 2 others from the board.
