reflect on how they could have managed it better

After the story:

1. What was the Hare character feeling?
2. What were his actions? How did these impact himself/others?
3. How does this show impulsivity?
4. How could the hare of acted differently?
Reflection (3-4 Students write how the hare was impulsive and the impact of that
min)
Solidifying the At the end of the lesson, provide steps for managing impulsivity (post

1. Name the feeling - how is this situation making you feel?
2. Take a few deep breaths and time to process the feeling?
3. Before acting, stop and think "what can I do that will help the
situation?"
4. Play the action in your mind, making sure it has a good outcome 
5. Act in a controlled way, using a kind voice and expressing how
you're feeling
