Reading and Spelling Use this activity with the whole class, or save it for ‘small group instruction. Make a transparency of this sheet or draw similar boxes on your board. (You can place these sheets in clear plastic sheet protectors. Children can write on them with wipe-off markers. Then they can be reused many times.) Children copy the top row from the board or projection © Write in the words pig, lip.and win in the boxes going across. © Read the words you have written with the class and have them write the same words on their Written Word Sort pages. @ Say the word chin, Have children repeat the word and point to their chins.
