Dear Student of III-1-A,

Internal assessment for your paper on the Law of Crimes is for forty marks. Twenty of those
marks are reserved for a written assignment. In these unprecedented times I am sure that
you are in a lock down and cannot leave home. Easily the most productive, if not the most
desirable way to pass the time is to complete your assignment and email it to me for

ARTICLE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS


1. Submit an assignment (20 marks) of minimum 2000 words (9-10 pages) on any one topic
from the list of topics given below.
2. The assignment is divided into two parts
3. PART A- The Body of the topic (14 marks) which should contain introduction,
background, explanation, relevant sections of IPC, case laws and bibliography.
4. PART B- The Analysis of the topic (6 marks) which may contain your critical appreciation
of the topic, your analysis, your conclusions/solutions, opinions, mention of
contemporary situations or comparison with other jurisdictions
5. A. Type written articles must follow the following Format Requirement:-
Font Style: Times New Roman,
Font Size: 12,
Line Spacing: one and a half
Margins: 1 inch from all sides.
B. Handwritten articles … WRITE NEATLY
6. IMPORTANT Mention Name, Roll No., Class and Division at the top of the assignment.
7. Submission should be online through email on email address
assignmentipca@gmail.com on or before midnight of April 21, 2020.
8. Format for submission should be only either of the following:-
(a) PDF (typed/handwritten);
(b) Images (.jpg/.jpeg/.png) having clear and legible handwriting.
