 STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE

In our country, many people are unemployed. Because of that, it contributes to

the number of rate of poverty. In order to surpass the struggle in being poor, they want
to build a business, either small or big. Business is an organization or economic system
where goods and services are exchanged for one another or for money. Every business
requires some form of investment and enough customers to whom its output can be
sold on a consistent basis in order to make a profit. But having a business is not easy.
There are many things needed to consider first before building it. Without having proper
education, lack of confidence and of course without capital to manage an entity, they
cannot perform a successful business. It can be a gain or loss. The fear of being
bankrupt even before putting up a business is one of the causes why people are
hesitating, they are afraid to take the risk. They need to think twice whether they will
invest in an entity or not.
To help them, our team come up with a reality show that will feature different
types of businesses from distinct places in our country, Philippines. By this endeavour,
we believe that it will encourage and help them to come up a type of business which
suited their skills or mastery. Also, by featuring different businesses in this show, we
can promote and make them much popular and well-known in the Philippines.
 DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM

Our program aims to feature different businesses to their respective places. In

this program, we are helping people to promote and let other people know and visit their
place. We are featuring products, specialties and how the company started. We believe
that by knowing that there are different types of businesses, this show will help and
encourage other people to build their own business and teach them how to manage
properly. It can also help the owners to improve their businesses to be successful.

The show “Business Makers, Otw!” will be aired every morning of Saturday and
Sunday. In this show, we aim to give more information that could help especially to
those students who are taking up the business courses and business minded people
and to give some tips from the owners. To fulfil or make the show more lively, a male or
female with the age of twenty four (24) and above with pleasing personality and have a
characteristic of a good speaker that can promote well, are qualified to be the host of
the said program. In line with this, it doesn’t matter if the host doesn’t have any proper
education, as long as he/she is having an interest about business world and capable of
marketing the featured businesses in his/her own way. By travelling to a distinct
location, we will rank the top 3 Businesses from that place and then feature them in our
show. Therefore, our show aims not just to promote different businesses for them to get
more customers but also to encourage the viewers that they can also have their own
business.
 PROCEDURE OF THE PROGRAM

Opening: We are going to play a travelling video with its background music that will
show some road trips in different high-ways. (Urban and Rural)

establishing different kinds of businesses. I am pretty sure that you’re going to love me
as well as you will love the business too. So, entrepreneurs! Are you ready? Let’s get
started. Today, we will show you some restaurants in Northern part of the Philippines.

Host: I’m back! Our first destination is Batanes. Today, you will see the famous
restaurants in Northern most province.

Let’s start with “Pension Ivatan Restaurant”, a hotel and restaurant located across just
Basco Airport.

It is one of the most well-known restaurants in

Batanes that offers delectable and mouth-
watering Ivatan cuisines and other Filipino
favorites. One of their must try dishes is their
best-seller, the Ivatan Platter. This restaurant is open everyday from 6:00 AM to 10:00
PM. Reservation is not required but it is recommended to call them in advance at :

Host: Next is “Bunker’s Café”, to have the best view of Batanes’ sunset panorama while
enjoying great food, head to Bunker’s Café in Naidi Hills.

It is located just a few steps away from one of the most

recognizable landmarks in Batanes, the Basco
Lighthouse. This restaurant was closed during daytime
an opens at around 6 in the evening. Their best seller is
“Adobo with Palek”

reservation.

Host: And last is the “Fundacion Pacita”, it is one of the highly regarded hotels in
Batanes.

Located on top of a cliff, it offers an

unobstructed view of the sky, the sea, the
mountains and the rolling hills of Batanes.
It was once the studio of the
internationally acclaimed artist, Pacita Abad. Fundacion Pacita restaurant is open daily.

Nowadays, people engaged in watching different kinds of TV shows and

shows and etc. This program gives a deep effect in our society and one of this is the
reality show that has a vigorous impact on us today. Our program “Business Makers,
Otw!” will show you the goodness of having a successful business. This program will
inspire and motivate others to start their small entity as well as those entrepreneurs who
wanted their products to be well-known. People who will watch our show will be
encourage in building and creating their own business. Moreover, to those inspiring
business person and other entrepreneurs will be able to know the secrets behind of a
prosperous business. While those businesses that are being featured will be promoted
as well there places. And the products owned and produced by companies or business
persons will become popular to the viewers.

In this reality show, our team does not have a specific studio because we travel
across the country. We only use a minivan that has all the things we needed to set up
with.
