a. Confidentiality refers to protecting from being accessed by unauthorized parties. It is the
property that information is not made available or disclosed to unauthorized individuals,
entities or processes. And it is a component of privacy that implements to protect our data
from unauthorized viewers.

Integrity refers to ensuring the authenticity of information that information is not altered,
and that the source of the information is genuine. This means the information cannot be
modified in an unauthorized or undetected manner.

 Availability means that information is accessible by authorized users. If an attacker is not
able to compromise the first two elements of information security (confidentiality and
integrity) they may try to excite attacks like denial of service (DoS) that would bring down
the server.

b. Confidentiality is more important than integrity in Medical records; most medical records
are confidential because of what the information can provide someone. And also
confidentiality is more important than integrity in companies like Google, Amazon and
Apple. These companies are involving personal and financial information of the customers.

c. Integrity is more important than confidentiality in Bank account fraud.it would be more
important to detect money transfer or withdrawals if account has been corrupted.

d. Availability is overriding concern in DoS (denial of service) attacks.

Example: accessing online banking to deposit or withdrawal money.

 From a bank perspective integrity is more important, because banks are more
concerned about the integrity of financial records, with confidentiality having only
second priority. Some bank account holders or depositors leave ATM receipts
unchecked and hanging around after withdrawal cash. This shows that confidentiality
doesn’t have the highest priority.

 From bank customer perspective confidentiality is more important, because an

account holder is able to access their bank record, and also employees at the bank who
are helping bank customers with the transaction should be able to access the bank
records, but no one else should. If confidentiality is fail the customers secret has been
revealed, there’s no way to un-reveal it, and if customer bank records are posted on a
public website, everyone can know customers bank account number, balance, etc…
