Definition
Argument: - argument is something that provides reason to believe some claim. The claim
that the argument is arguing for is called the conclusion of the argument. The reasons that
are adduced in the conclusion’s favor are known as the premises of the argument.

Explanation:-the act or process of telling, showing, or being the reason for or cause of
something in order to make things clear or easy to understand.

The difference between argument and explanation

An argument is a rationale in which the reason presents evidence in support of a claim
made in the conclusion. Its purpose is to provide a basis for believing the conclusion to be
true. On other hand, explanation is a rationale in which the reason presents a cause of some
fact represented by the conclusion.

The similarity of argument and explanation

Both argument and explanation are reasonable ways of explaining or analyzing our option
whether it is based on cause or evidence in order to make our idea acceptable.
