Grand
Tour
A uniquely stylish, capable and
comfortable fast cruising yacht
for discerning sailors.
Genuine
GT spirit
Our elegant new flagship is a real connoisseur’s sailing
yacht – a sophisticated Grand Tourer that delivers the
perfect balance of speed and power, comfort and luxury,
easy handling and precise control.

The Elan GT6 is the result of a unique collaboration that

blends Elan’s hi-tech boatbuilding and fine craftsmanship
with the acclaimed naval architecture of Humphreys
Yacht Design and the bold, iconic style of Studio F. A.
Porsche to create an exclusive yacht with genuine GT
spirit. With a GT6 you can sail further and faster, cruise in
comfort and arrive in style.

With the GT6 we have distilled the essence of

gran turismo into a remarkably fast, luxurious and
stylish cruising yacht.

Exhilarating
performance,
complete control
Why choose between speed and comfort when you can
have both? The high-performance hull of the GT6 has been
carefully optimised with extensive CFD modelling to be fast,
stable and easily driven in a wide range of sea states.

Combined with a powerful and perfectly balanced sailplan,

it delivers a huge amount of fun for the helmsman and
crew on all points of sail. In the true GT spirit, its race-
derived features have been optimised for cruising to deliver
precise control in all conditions, impeccable handling
characteristics and a smooth, comfortable ride.

Our work on the GT6 has been inspired by the

work we’ve been doing on short-handed ocean
racing boats. There’s a lot of synergy.

Tom Humphreys, Humphreys Yacht Design

First class luxury
and comfort
on board
Luxury, quality, refinement and comfort are crucial for
a Grand Tourer – they’re just as important as speed,
exhilaration and power. The GT6 delivers a luxurious
experience whether you’re sailing fast in a strong breeze,
motoring quietly along the coast, enjoying a beautiful
anchorage or moored in a busy harbour.

With world class product designers from Studio F. A.

Porsche working alongside Elan’s yacht design experts,
the ergonomics of the GT6 bring new levels of comfort
to life afloat. Exquisite details and a handcrafted finish
enhance the joy of being on board. Under way, the safe,
snug forward cockpit is a haven of relaxation. At rest, the
stylish saloon and spacious cabins are a comfortable home.

The whole interior of the GT6 bears our unique

and recognisable design DNA, combining a
minimalistic design approach with the idea of
enhanced functionality.

Design Director, Studio F. A. Porsche
Easy handling
for short-handed
crews
The way we cruise has changed and the GT6 is designed
to reflect that. Whether you choose to sail alone, as
a couple or family, with guests or other experienced
sailors, this yacht has the versatility to suit your style of
cruising. There’s plenty of raw power at your fingertips,
with well-engineered systems to ensure you stay in
complete control.

This is a stiff, stable and weatherly yacht that rewards

good sail trim but doesn’t demand a lot of effort from the
crew and tracks perfectly straight even in strong, gusty
winds. Humphreys Yacht Design is renowned for creating
yachts that balance raw power and speed with control
and good handling – and that’s what the GT6 is all about.

Performance is about more than just boatspeed.

It’s also about good manners, easy handling
and control.

Tom Humphreys, Humphreys Yacht Design

Unique contemporary style

The striking silhouette of the GT6, styled by Studio F. A. Porsche, is a well-

balanced combination of sharp, distinctive lines and soft, sculpted curves – it’s
guaranteed to stand out from the crowd of average white boats and will turn
heads in any harbour.

The exterior design combines minimalism with dynamics, bringing sailors closer
to nature. Some elements of the stunning cockpit design are inspired by the
aerodynamics of iconic sports cars while others such as the steering pedestals
and ‘floating’ stern take their design cues from nature, inspired by seagull wings
and stingray fins. Studio F. A. Porsche is a longstanding partner of Elan’s
ski-making division, but this is the iconic design firm’s first ever
sailing yacht.

The elaborately curved surfaces allow

for beautiful flares of light as well as the
reflections of sky and sea.
