Protectioon (SIPP). Th he scheme faacilitated thee start-ups too file applicaations for paatents, designns &
trademarrks through registered
r facilitators in appropriate IP offices byy paying onlly statutory fees.

No fee foor facilitationn shall be chharged from the start-upss as prescribed fee for saame is to be paid
directly to the facillitators by respective
r IP

o submissioon of claim m after filingg of
applicatioon as per thhe guidelinee published dated 08.06 6.2016. How wever, instaances have been b
reported in this officee whereuponn the registerred facilitatoors have been ignoring facilitation
f too the
start-ups citing variouus reasons and
a asking exxtra fees from m them.

All such facilitators are

a hereby cautioned to avoid
a such practices.

may be noteed that any acct of
denial off facilitationn to the staart-ups shalll be considdered as ann act of missconduct inn his
professioonal capacityy. Same shaall lead to reemoval of thheir name from the list(s) of facilitaators
and subssequently, acction for rem moval of hiim / her nam me from the registeredd list of pateent /
trademarrk agent undeer relevant provision
