The Council has proved 110 drugs till now, out of which 80 drugs are of plant origin, 09 are of animal origin, 01 Sarcodes, 01
Nosode and 19 are prepared from chemicals. The details of these drugs are mentioned in Table 1. Out of these 110 drugs, 16
drugs are new and partially proved drugs and proved exclusively by the Council (Table 2), while the remaining 92 drugs have
been re-proved. The proving data has been published so far in the form of books – Drug Proving (DP) volumes, Monographs and
Drug Proving articles in CCRH Quarterly Bulletins (QB) & Indian Journal of Research in Homoeopathy (IJRH).
*This proving was done when there were combined Research Council of Indian sysytems of medicine and Homoeopathy.
• Apart from the publications mentioned in Table 1, ‘Drug Proving Module and Manual’ has also been published by the Council
to plan and conduct training workshops to inculcate research aptitude in the students, academicians etc. and to take up
this research work at maximum homoeopathic medical colleges and such other institutions. Orientation lectures on Drug
proving research and protocol of CCRH has been conducted at JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital,
Shamshabad, Telengana and Swasthya Kalyan Homoeopathic Medical College and Research center, Jaipur, Rajasthan in
2017-18.
• “Homoeopathic Drug Proving: Randomised double-blind placebo-controlled trial”, has been published in Indian Journal of
Research in Homoeopathy, Vol. 9 (1) 2015 pp. 3-11.
• “Knowledge, attitude, practice, and beliefs about drug proving in students of Homoeopathy” has been published in Indian
Journal of Research in Homoeopathy, Vol. 9 (4) 2015 pp. 230-239
• “Illustrative features of homeopathic drug proving research studies conducted in the last two decades (1996-2015) for a
systematic review: a preliminary study” has been submitted for publication in Homeopathy.
• ‘A Systematic review and meta-analysis of Homeopathic Pathogenetic Trials (1996-2015)’ has been drafted to take up this
project in collaboration with Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (RLHIM), London.
