It is important to wash your hands
to get rid of germs and lower the
chance of spreading germs.

Wash your hands after:


❒ you get home
❒ coughing or sneezing
❒ using the toilet
What are GERMS ?
❒ playing outside
❒ shaking hands with others
❒ playing with toys
❒ touching animals
❒ before you eat or touch food

Don’t FORGET to:


• Cough or sneeze into a tissue or the
bend of your arm, not your hand.
• Dispose of any tissues you have
used and wash your hands
• Avoid touching surfaces people

mouth with unwashed hands
