    To the Parents/Gaurdians of Mrs.

    Winton’s Second Grade Class:

    Hi!

    My name is Jera Nicholson. I am a student at Kirtland Community College, and one of

    my courses is Introduction to Education. I need at least 45 hours of observation hours over the

    next few months, and I am looking forward to obtaining these hours in your child’s classroom.

    Beyond just watching as class goes on, I will observe many different aspects of teaching. I will

    notice things such as teacher/child interactions, discipline and order, how to make a lesson

    interactive, and so many more valuable skills. I am looking forward to being in the classroom,

    and look forward to getting to know your child!
