 Old vs. New
How do the new Training Tracks compare to the old online trainings?
All the old IBC trainings (Viewer, Analyst, and Data Scientist) have been deactivated and replaced with new Training Tracks. These new Training Tracks contain some of the
old IBC training material, which was then restructured and enhanced to better align to the typical Celonis user roles.

 Celonis Certification Exams
Details

There are three Certification Exams: Certification Requirements:

Certified Partners need to have at least two individuals who are certified as a Sales Professional and two
individuals who are certified as both an Analyst and a Data Engineer. In addition, any individuals working
on a Celonis Implementation Project must be certified as either an Analyst, a Data Engineer, or both.

You become certified by completing the relevant exam with a passing grade of 80%.

Exam Details:
• The Analyst and Data Engineer Certification Exams each cost 200€ per person.
• Each of these purchased exams include two attempts to pass. An additional fee is required for the
third and final attempt.
• Each exam must be taken within 90 days of purchase.
• The Sales Professional Certification Exam is free-of-charge and allows for an unlimited number of
attempts to pass.
• You can purchase all Certification Exams directly in the training platform (https://lms.celonis.com).
• Although the Certification Exams can technically be taken without doing any coursework or
exercises, we do strongly suggest going through the relevant Training Tracks to properly prepare.
This is especially important for exams with limited attempts.
• Certifications are valid for a year, starting from the date you pass the exam. You must take the exam
every year to maintain the certification.

Preparation
Analyst Certification Exam
To prepare for the Analyst Certification Exam we strongly advise you to go through the entire Analyst Training Track.
If you have already completed the old IBC online training (Viewer and Analyst), you should at minimum take the highlighted
coursesin order to prepare for the exam. Courses that are not highlighted will be familiar to you as they have the same learning
objectives as the old IBC online training. Nevertheless, the contents inside have been restructured and enhanced.

To prepare for the Data Engineer Certification Exam we strongly advise you to go through the entire Data Engineer Training Track.
If you have already completed the old IBC online training (Viewer, Analyst, and Data Scientist), you should at minimum take the
highlighted coursesin order to prepare for the exam. Courses that are not highlighted will be familiar to you as they have the
same learning objectives as the old IBC online training. Nevertheless, the contents inside have been restructured and enhanced.
