Complete the sentences with the given verbs and words. (Use the simple past or the past
progressive)
Use the simple past and past perfect form of the verbs in the blanks to complete the sentences.
1. I got ready to pay my bill when I (look) looked in my pocket, I discovered that I (leave)
had le my wallet at home. With some embarrassment, I told my friend that I (forget)
my wallet. She kindly (offer) offered to pay my part of the bill for me.
2. In 1980, my parents (emigrate) emigrated to the United States from South Korea. They
