have been spending more
time helping students
develop schedules that
work for them and helping
them evaluate what works
best for them in this
environment. For example,
during my first phone call

about their study space and
what times of the day do
they like to work. These

students get set up for
successful year of online

This is an area where my
school excels. We are a
very flexible program and
we strive to customize and
individualize as much as
possible. Students are
responsible for their own
learning but as their
teacher, I help them
develop routines and
schedules that will help
them get their work
completed. We also are
available to help our
students, but the
responsibility is partially on
the student to reach out and
ask. We work with students
who are anxious or don’t
like to ask for help, so we
work with them to develop
healthy ways to get help
