Log on to education.microsoft.com to view Microsoft Educator Community.

Click the sign-in button on the upper right corner.
The below dialog box will appear:

Once you click Microsoft, the below screen will appear:

If you already have Outlook ID, proceed with sign-in. Otherwise,

click ‘Create one’ option to follow the process of sign-up step by
step to generate your outlook ID. You will not encounter any
problem if you read the instructions carefully (the process is little
bit similar to Gmail sign-up procedure).

Step 3
As soon you finished creating your outlook ID, you will be directed back to
the home page of Microsoft Educator Community. Here on the upper right
corner, you will now see your name along with a Smiley.
You have now become a Microsoft Educator Community Member.

You can click on your name to see the options like My Profile, Achievements,
My Favourite, Development etc.

Now take time to provide as much information about yourself as you can
using Edit Profile option. Once you are done with it, your profile will appear
this way:

Step 4
Click on Training button and a drop-down menu will appear. Click courses
option there.

Now you will see the courses page where you will have eight
categories of courses:
– Recommended for you
– Learning paths (Should be your 2nd priority)
– Office 365
– OneNote and Sway
– Apps, Surface, Windows and Bing
– STEM and Minecraft (Should be your 3rd priority)
– Skype in the Classroom
– Pedagogy (Should be your 1st priority)

And before all that, do SDGs course first.

Step 5
Explore the badges and points option under Training button to see the
criteria to qualify for the different badges. You earn badges on the basis of
points and you earn points on the basis of courses.

In order to become Certified MIE, you have to earn 1000 points.

You can move towards more badges by earning more points.

Explore the certificates option to see the criteria for the range of certificates
you can avail.

Note: Not all courses can get you certificates. There are the courses which
only get you badges and there are the courses which get you both certificates
and badges. Once you click on any course, you will see the details on whether
there is any certificate associated with it. For example:

Step 7
Complete any two courses that can reach you to 1000 points and make you
qualify for Certified MIE.

Begin Quiz. Usually 80 % Score is required to pass any course. You can attempt
as many times as you want. Just there is a limit of per-day attempt.

Step 8
Once you successfully complete any course, you will receive congratulations
message on screen and you can share it on any social media platform. Then,
just in an hour or earlier, a certificate and a badge along with transcript will
be added to your achievements like this:

Once you have reached 1000 points, certified MIE badge and certificate (along
with the courses certificates/badges) will be displayed on your achievements
page like this:

Click on the certificate icon and you will see the download option.

Click on the certificate icon and you will see the download option.

Download your certificate in PDF, save it or print it out to attach a

hard copy of it in your profile.
Note: Remove inverted commas at the end of the file name while
saving it in order to avoid file extension issues.
