Josef Martinez tore his ACL in Atlanta United's
match against Nashville SC, where in the 63rd
MLS: Atlanta minute, he tumbled to the ground in pain. But
because of COVID-19 suspending all sports, the
United focused injury might not end up hurting Atlanta United's
season as much as originally thought. Atlanta
on Josef United is hoping that Josef can fully heal his
right knee from the tear before the season starts
Martinez back up again.
returning to MLS had originally hoped to resume the full
season on May 10th, but their most recent update
normal before admits that is extremely unlikely. They are likely
to play a reduced season, and either push the
their season playoffs back later in the year or limit the playoffs
starts up again altogether.
As fans of Atlanta United, the editorial staff of
this paper hope we get to see as many games as
possible.

The opening of restaurants and bowling alleys, along with
many other businesses, are allowing people to go out and
enjoy things they couldn't a week ago. I know many will
disagree, but in my opinion, I'm tired of this and want to go
back to normal! You can finally go back and sit down at a
table, but there are still additional rules like wearing masks
and social distancing. You still have to be cautious about
whats going on around you and be careful about where you
sneeze. But at least you can go out with your family again.
Some restaurants and others made the decision to remain
closed. Like the Great Clips near Publix. But there is a $35
dollar per cut hair salon for men called Deisel Barbershop. I
got one there and they have video games you can play while
you're waiting for someone to finish and they are free! Plus,
they offer you drinks, and you get your hair washed in a sink
at the end! How great is that! They wear masks and gloves,
and limit the number of customers, so you don't have to be
uncomfortable. I highly recommend it if you need a haircut!
