II. ESSAY

1. Factors that made me who I am now.

First, Family. Having a broken family isn’t a reason to stop dreaming. Luckily, I have found a family
through my uncle and auntie, who support on me, believing that I can, cheering on every hardship that I
experienced. I’m also thankful to my dad who supported me financially when I needed him. I am grateful
for them in bringing me into this. They continue to fight for the best so that I can get the best. I am the
person that I am today because of them. Second is Friends. We've all heard of the line, "Friends come
and go." I probably cannot count the number of friends who left my life with only my hands, but that's
okay. I find myself meeting new people every day. Every person who walks into my life, whether they
are different or like me, shows me a different perspective of life. Wonderful thing about friendships -
they are countless, exciting, and spontaneous. And it can develop to be even more than a friendship. It
could be a brotherhood. As I grow up, I tend to start distancing my selves from my family. I distance
myself to grow and become independent, these brotherhoods helped me grow and let me experience
the real meaning of freedom. My teenage days won’t be great and amazing without them. Third, Career
opportunities. We can strive for the best in the things that we want to do, but if you do not take the
opportunities to do so, even if you tried - it would not happen. It is all about taking a risk. So, when I got
a better opportunity, I grabbed it. Then, I show them what I can. We are given a countless amount of
opportunities in front of us. These chances that we take and turn down is what shapes us up to be the
person that we are.

We will always think back to the things that we had the chance to do and try, but at the same time, we
will always think back to the "What if's" in our lives. It is this that keeps us going and directs us to be the
person that we are now. Lastly, Faith. Don’t lose your faith in God. Always believe in him that someday,
he will surprise you with all that you deserve.

2. Define Personality.

Personality is defined as the characteristic sets of behaviors, cognitions, and emotional patterns that
evolve from biological and environmental factors. It is the sum of the qualities and characteristics of a
person as shown in her manner of walking, talking, dressing, and her attitudes, interests and ways of
reacting to other people. It refers to all the factors within the person that influences his characteristic
way of behaving, thinking and feeling. It is our image on others.

3. How you improve your personality?

We all have ideas about ourselves. And having a good personality is vital- probably even more so than
good looks. We can improve our personality by engaging to new people. The more you get involved in
the world and get the more you accept its challenges, the greater will be the opportunities to test out
what you believe to be true about yourself and to build your personality.

4. Explain the statement, “Be on center stage”

We are born with God-given looks and basic talents. Make use of that to be a star- on someone or to the
world. You should project to the world the best you have to offer. Be on center stage on every occasion-
on everyone by being yourself and by respecting others.

5. Define Beauty.

Beauty has varied throughout time, various cultures and the vast different perceptions of the world.
Beauty has been described and depicted through pictures and concepts penetrating our minds. Beauty
has been defined in so many ways. The dictionary says beauty is “the quality or aggregate of qualities in
a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit”. What I have
discovered is that beauty is simple. Beauty is happiness.
