7th edition of Cast India Expo - Exhibition for Indian Casting Manufacturers held during January 29 – 31, 2016 at Codissia
Tradefair Complex, Coimbatore,Tamil Nadu, INDIA which was yet another moment of pride for its organizers,The Institute of

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. Ravi Sam, Managing Director,Adwaith Laxmi Industries Ltd. & Guest of
Honor Mr. P.K. Ahammed, Chairman, Peekay Group in the presence of Mr. Krishna Samaraj, President, The Institute of Indian
Foundrymen, Mr.C.R. Swaminathan,Chairman,Organizing Committee, 64th Indian Foundry Congress, Mr. R. Paliniswamy,Co-

In spite of the slowdown in the foundry industry in India and globally, IFEX 2016 has emerged as the largest foundry industry
exhibition ever organized in India.

294 exhibitors from 12 countries including group country pavilions from China, Germany and Italy - exhibited their latest
products / services being offered to the foundry industry.Global players catering to foundry industry have used IFEX 2016 as a
platform to launch their new technologies not only to the Indian market but also to the Global markets.

The 64th Indian Foundry Congress, which was organized by IIF concurrent to IFEX & Cast India Expo, was well attended by over
1800 delegates. Eminent speakers from across the globe shared their expertise and knowledge addressing the latest
challenges being faced by the foundry industry.

Over 30 foundries from across India have exhibited in Cast India Expo 2016 displaying their capacities and capabilities to the
casting buyers from across the Globe.The 'Cast Source Meet' organized by IIF as part of the 64th Indian Foundry Congress has
brought both casting buyers and sellers to the table to discuss the current and future requirements of the buyers.

This trade fair was witnessed by over 7500 trade visitors coming from across the globe apart from over 1800 delegates of the
64th Indian Foundry Congress. Most of the exhibitors expressed their satisfaction towards the profile of the visitors who
visited their stalls during the 3 days of the exhibition.

With the success of its 12th edition, IFEX once again proved its prowess as the leading foundry supplier trade fair in the Indian
Sub-Continent. As a platform for 'Building Brand India as a global sourcing destination for casting', Cast India Expo is fast
gaining its acceptance among the Indian foundries.

Continuing the success story, the next editions of IFEX and Cast India Expo will be organized concurrent to 65th Indian
Foundry Congress during February 03 – 05, 2017 at Eco Park, NewTown, Rajarhat, Kolkata,West Bengal, INDIA.
