Dear Beyond Meat Headquarters,

I would like to request an interview with someone at your company who can inform me about both
the environmental and health benefits of plant-based eating, possibly along with a personal story
of how plant-based eating changed their life.

I am currently a junior at Maryknoll High School in Hawaii. This year, for english class we were
assigned a group project in which we have to do a project to solve a local or global scale project.
When I heard about this project, I immediately got my group together to brain storm ideas for our
research. We agreed that wanted to do a global issue, so we could impact the world on a larger
scale than just our community.

After taking time to sift through our ideas, we thought of a big problem we have been seeing on the
news lately, climate change. We then thought about a solution to this issue and decided on
creating our project around how buying local can affect both the economy and the environment,
and also how plant-based eating can positively impact people's health and stop the incline of
deforestation.

We, as a group, have set our mind on making a plant-based cookbook made of recycled paper to
help people who want to make this transition do so with recipes that are on-hand and easy. We
also have an instagram account @plant.based.bites, where you can see us work on our recipes
for our cookbook and our progress. I am excited to hear back for you.
