Congruent Transformations
Here we study those transformations that leave the image congruent to the original. In other words, its
shape and size do not change.

There are three different types of such congruent transformations:

1. Translation (or 'slide'). You move the object without tilting it any.

2. Reflection ('flip'). You reflect or mirror the image in some line.

3. Rotation ('turn'). You rotate the object around some point.
