1) Dominant Quadrant: Balanced

My dominant quadrant is balanced. I have been observing this over a period of 6 days that I
approach situations in a calm and balanced manner. The feedback that I received in class
matches my perception aptly.
Over the past few days, I have been teaching Mathematics to my younger brother. My younger
brother is a bit slow in understanding mathematics and I have to be very patient and have a
balanced approach and make him understand all the concepts.

2) Triggered Quadrant: Overbearing

When even after a lot of explanation and discussion my brother keeps on making the same
mistakes again and again (trigger), I tend to get aggressive and go in the overbearing zone.
I get aggressive and angry. I become too outspoken and reactive even without trying to
understand why he is making those mistakes. Communication is all one-way.

Even in this case, the feedback that I received in class matches my perception appropriately.

3) Changes observed in my interactions with others

The automatic effect of observing my characteristics is that I started to become conscious of my
triggered personality. I started being more aware of my reactions on being triggered and I
started to control those reactions.
When I realized that I turn into an overbearing personality when I observe mistakes made by
my brother while learning mathematics, I started to control my urge to get angry and instead
try to understand why he was making those mistakes.
I tried harder consciuosly to be in the balanced zone.
