Partnering with Ship To Shore operators HOW ?

By partnering up with STS operators, we want to help container owners to reduce container asset costs and to offer the STS operators a chance for
more revenue (we are not selling anything to STS operators).

ConexBird has the first automated system to detect the condition of containers and ConexBird provide guaranteed savings on capital and operational
costs. For the first time in the world, the container owners can know is the container structure “fragile & rugged”. Under the current processes, the
containers are maintained with data such as “sound” or “available”. By adding the data mentioned above (fragile & rugged) gives the container owner
a chance to reduce their risk (e.g., prevent containers falling to the sea from the ship).

The system is based on new technology called machine learning. Therefore, we are able to:
1) Data for optimize container owners capital cost savings.
2) Data to bring rugged containers for better safety for all.
3) ConexBird is taking care of data sales for container owners. STS operator get more income from data sales (revenue share model).

Our system is installed to the container handling devices. During the container lift, the system checks the condition of the container. We are
collaborating very closely with Konecranes, who will be taking care of the manufacturing, field installations and maintenance of the technology (no
matter who is the manufacturer of the lifting devices). From process or technology perspective, there are no distractions to your current operations
(Konecranes & Conexbird guarantees that the technology does not harm your cranes/spreaders, especially since nothing needs to be welded). All
installation plans will be reviewed with you before installations.

What are we asking from STS operators only?

1) We are asking STS spreader type and promise to integrate our technology to your STS cranes (into the spreader).
2) We need the specific dates when installation is possible. Then our team will need appr. 2-4 hours per each STS crane for the installations.

PRODUCT RELEASES & FEATURES WHAT ?
(1ST INSTALLATIONS ON 1Q/2019)

LEARNING TO FLY RELEASE FOR EARLY BIRDS

NOTIFICATION when container is rugged
- Rugged containers to be sent to expensive maintenance destinations.
ALARM and NOTIFICATION when fragile or stressed container risk exists. Available 2Q/2019
- Fragile or stressed containers to be sent to cheap maintenance destinations.
- Container can be available (sound) but structure is fragile and easy to damage.
- Container stack to be reduced and the need to purchase new containers is reduced.
ALBATROSS RELEASE
ALARM and NOTIFICATION when damaged container is exist and deeper human inspection is needed
- Damaged container to be sent cheap to maintenance destinations.
Available 3Q/2019
- Less lifts. Only damaged containers need deeper inspections and estimation. More transparency for repair costs.
- Speeding up empty container reposition next to human inspection. More reliable container releasing next to human container
inspection.
EAGLE RELEASE
ALARM and NOTIFICATION when new container repair estimate is too HIGH and new reposition plan
is needed Available 3Q/2019
- If repair cost limit is over the threshold, then too high repair estimated containers to be replanned to cheaper repair destinations.
- Fully automated system. Savings from repair costs. 5

shows it
○ The container is “Bad / Fragile” and in worse shape than registration date or repair history
shows it.
○ The container structure is tight “Good / Rugged”

HOW SERVICE OPERATES 2/4 HOW ?

OPERATING STEPS
1) Container ID and decision settings are read from existing TOS system via interface.

2) Containers are lifted via STS Cranes.

3) The device "vibrates" the container with a little actuators

4) System sensors (integrated to the STS cranes spreader) measure the vibrations of the
container structure.

5) The vibration data of the container are stored to IT cloud.

6) The vibration data of thousands of container structures generate Big data for machine

HOW SERVICE OPERATES 3/4 HOW ?

MAIN GOALS for SERVICE USER EXPERIENCE:

1) To detect are the containers fragile/not fragile while they are being lifted (regardless has human eyes seen them to be damaged or completely
in a good condition).
- How do we detect a fragile container? It is based on a given percentage amount and to a given sample size. From these readings,
according to the principles of machine learning, a scale from “fragile” to “rugged” is being generated. Scale number of 0 is the most
fragile container and a number of 100 is the most rugged (out of taken readings).
- To detect what is a fragile container is based on the decision settings of the container owner:
a) First, we communicate together with the container owner regarding the required readings from different container types
b) Second, the container owner decides what is the level for their containers to be “fragile” and then the rest will be marked as
“rugged”. For instance, if a container owner wishes to set a 5% level for their fragility, our AI (artificial intelligence) has been taught to
detect and announce all containers to be “fragile” that according to the measurements are under that 5% threshold. The container
owner can change this setting anytime to satisfy their needs (i.e., the container owner will decide what is a fragile container for their
company).
2) To detect are the containers damaged (while they are being lifted)
- The basic idea behind “how to measure damaged containers” is that, the set of the containers will be measured and afterwards the
system will read what has been damaged and how. The AI (artificial intelligence) will be taught by reading it for instance, which of the
measured containers were OK and which were NOT OK. This information for the machine learning will be easily received from the
inspectors repair estimates of the containers over system software interfaces.
- To detect the damages is more challenging than to detect a fragile container, however, through machine learning, the system will
become more knowledgeable and efficient, the more repair estimates it gets (i.e., the more you feed the baby the faster it grows).
- At the beginning, we will focus on under structure, corner post and corner cast damages just to name a few. These damages must be
detected to avoid the breakdown by the container construct.
