PHARMACOLOGY ONLINE CLASS

- Antineoplastics
- CNS agents
- ANS agents

Hello everyone! I hope you are safe wherever you are right now and that you are all
able to get good night sleeps and nutritious diets :) I would just like to update everyone
based on the guidelines released by the university that we have to resume our on-line
classes. These are some pointers so as everybody will be guided as to how we will go
through our on-line class:

1. We will still cover and finish all prelims topic which includes Anti-infectives,
Antineoplastics and CNS/ANS agents. I will be sending materials for you to read. I also
placed there some links that you can browse for additional learnings. Please do not limit
your learning with the materials I will be sending you are very much encouraged to
access on-line journals/books for additional information. Please read those materials
and attached with it are guide questions (Assignments that you have to answer) to
validate your understanding with the topics.  Deadlines will be set and kindly follow.

2. For finals, there will be 2 BB collab sessions to be set and recorded based on the
availability of most of you. Topics to be discussed are Cardio and Endo drugs. Materials
will be sent before hand so we can just have a synthesis of the topics. Other topics that
will be left like Respi and GU drugs, materials will be sent with guide questions for you
learning.

3. There will be no final exams. Instead, we will be giving you a case scenario wherein
you have to answer individually for a given time. It is the summative assessment
wherein it may discuss cumulative of the topics.  I will update you the soonest for this
once available,

4. Grading system as follows: Monthlys will remain as is.. which will be 50% of your final
grade. The remaining 50% will be merged Prelims and Finals grade which is divided to
Class Standing 80% and Summative Assessment 20%. Your class standing will be
based on 60% Assignments 40% Advocacy. 

5. Regarding your advocacy, DEADLINE for situational analysis will be on APRIL 30.
Two groups were able to submit without feedback yet. May I ask all the groups to
submit their outputs before the deadline and then SET an online consultation with me
based on your free time prior to the deadline so you can present your output and we
can discuss about it then I can give you feedback right away. We can do it via ZOOM or
BB Collab, which ever is feasible. Online presentation of situational analysis may be
done anytime once you were able to submit your written output. Prior to April 30 or even
after. Final infographics output DEADLINE is on MAY 25. So we can give you feedback
prior to submitting to NI on May 30.
