I. Background
This activity or project was created in order to train
our skills in selling, by improving our knowledge,
strategic planning, Listening, communication, time
management, and creativity.
We will be tackling all the new skills that we as a group
have gained along the way and what we have improved in
the process, what were the challenges that we have faced
during the selling and buying of all the needed items for
this activity. We will be applying all the knowledge that
we have gained from our previous sessions to this
activity and see if we were able to execute this activity
efficiently.

II. Objectives
● Gain and achieve the minimum quota of 1,500 Php above.
● Apply all our learnings from Prof. Salesmanship...
● Sell our product in the minimon of 2-3 days.
● Create a Sales Report and Plan

III. Details of the activity

● Day 1
○ During day 1 we sold our graham ice cream in our
stall. We weren’t able to sell out grahams in the
Pavilion due to the schedule of events in the
Pavilion, so that being said, we sold our grahams in
the Business Hub instead. Two members of our group
(Gab and Jean) sold the Ice creams in the stall,
while the other two members (Daniel and Halen) were
tasked to sell the other batch of ice cream around
the campus, they roamed the campus around 10:00 a.m.

After a while the two came back and have sold a

decent amount of ice creams. Gab and Jean, then
switched tasks with Halen and Dan, in selling the
remaining ice creams. Gab and Jean roamed around the
campus as well and sold the remaining batch of
graham ice creams. There were 13 left but were left
in the freezer at home at that time. So at the end
of day 1, The group has sold a total amount of
1,325 Php. As a group we realized that if we were to
create another batch of graham ice cream it will
take us a lot of time again in order to make them,
we then decided, as a group, to create a new product
to sell on Day 2. We decided to sell truffles.
Around 5:00 p.m. Dan, Halen and Gab bought the
necessary ingredients for the truffles and around
7:00 p.m we started creating our new product.

● Day 2
○ On day 2, we started selling the remaining batch of
graham ice creams that were left during day 1 in the
stall. One member (Gab) of our group sold some
truffles around the AMS Area, specifically in the
Senior High area. He sold quite a lot in the
process. During that time, One member (Jean) who was
staying in the stall sold some graham ice cream as
well. Around 12:00 p.m. Dan and Halen made it and we
just made a plan where Halen would stay at the stall
to sell the remaining ice cream grahams and Gab,
Jean and Dan would be selling the remaining truffles
around the university. At 4:00 p.m. the group was
able to sell all the remaining products and has
gained 1,193 Php in the end.

Before the day ended, we computed all the total

earnings of day 1 and day 2 and all the total
expenses. After finding out we have surpassed the
minimum quota of 1,500 Php. We have decided that we
will no longer be selling on day 3. So, in Day 1 and
Day 2, after totalling the total costs and income,
we as a group have gained the total sales of 2,523
Php and have gained the total profit of 1,903 Php.

V. Takeaways
● The important things that we have gained before, during
and after the project activity was that selling is hard.
It was challenging, it took us quite a long time in
finishing the 1st batch of graham ice creams and thinking
on how much we would be selling it. Another challenge
that we encountered was the selling itself, Finding the
right demographic was vital in our selling, at first
during day 1 we were selling our products to the Senior
High School students, but it turns out we were wrong.
They were not interested in our first product but then we
learned that our grahams are actually more profitable
towards the High School students and on day 2 our
truffles were profitable to the Senior High Students.
Finding your demographic or target market is important.
We also learned how to communicate well towards our
customers, well, we were communicating our customers
properly right off the bat, and also along the way we
improved our skill in that area. We strongly believe now
that a salesperson has the ability to sell anything if
he/she can communicate well with his/her customer with
great efficiency. It’s all about communicating with your
customer and understanding them.Summary of this takeaway
is that, Selling is about understanding the psychology of
your target market and understanding the basis of selling
and the psychology of it. Also, strategizing and planning
is a vital part in every Selling activity or plan. That
is our takeaway of this activity or project.
