The timeless classic, Mamma Mia continues to attract theatre goers, over a decade following
the musical premiered on the West End. ABBA is probably the most successful bands

A West End theatre, Novello Theatre is found in Aldwych inside City of Westminster, London.
Aldwych Theatre was built as well as it along with the both stood on each side of the Waldorf
Hotel. It was initially named Waldorf Theatre if this opened on 22nd May 1905 and became
Strand Theatre in 1909. It was renamed Whitney Theatre in 1911 and Strand Theatre again
in 1913. It got its current name in 2005 after Welsh composer, singer and actor Ivor Novello
who resided in a very flat higher than the theatre between 1913 and 1951. It is a Grade II
listed theatre from the English heritage and has seating capacity of 1105. It featured in Donal
Sinden's DVD documentary series referred to as the Great West End Theatre featuring 40
theatres from West End.
