- BS-3921 standard requires the average of ten clay brick samples for crushing strength and water absorption.
- BS-5328 standard requires the mean of two cube sample strength at 28 days as characteristic strength.
- ACI 318-08 standard requires mean of two sample (6"diax12" cylinder) strength at 28 days as compressive strength.

Note: Test results refer to the supplied samples only. The Department/laboratory is not
responsible for the sampling, originality and on site conditions (Mix proportion, W/C ratio,
compaction, curing and quality of ingredients). The test results are recommended to be
