    REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, RE: RESOLUTION
    RESPECTFULLT REQUESTING THE HOUSE OF
    REPRESENTATIVS AND THE SENATE FOR THE
    RECLASSIFICATION OF THE INCOME CLASSES OF THE LOCAL
    GOVERNMENT UNITS IN THE PHILIPPINES”

    This refers to the above-cited subject submitted into this office for legal opinion.

    Upon review of the said documents, this office notes that resolutions are merely a declaration
    of the sentiment or opinion of a lawmaking body on a specific matter. 1 With that said, since
    the subject matter of the resolution is not applicable to our province as we are already
    classified as first class and there is no need for us to create a similar resolution, this office
    suggest, that we can show our support of their resolution.

    We hope that you have been enlightened on this matter. Thank you very much and more
