SUBJECT: LETTER OF DR. EDMAR SUPNET

This refers to the letter of Dr. Supnet which subject is the expiration of his license from the
Professional Regulation Commission last April 25, 2020, submitted to this office for legal
opinion.

This office opines that Dr. Supnet can validly continue his active practice in the Medical
Field. Pursuant to Professional Regulation Commission Resolution No. 1234 Series of 2020
which recognizes that there are professionals whose Professional Identification Cards (PICs)
are to expire during the one (1) month enhanced community quarantine period but cannot
update or renew the same because of the prevailing health emergency situation. The
commission resolves to extend the validity of the PICs of all covered professionals.

Furthermore, it is expected that after the lifting of the enhanced community quarantine Dr.
Supnet shall comply the requirements for the immediate renewal of his license.
