The Legazpi Thomasian Medical Technology Society which is one of the partaking

organization in the College of Health Sciences. It focuses on addressing the interests and put into
center the concerns and welfare of every Medical Technology students in our University. It is
also one of the duties of the said organization to provide activities and events that are of in great
importance in regards with the student’s desideratum.

As part of the organization’s activities, a Medical Technology Team Building was

proposed along with the other activities that is inclined with the provision of the LTMTS
organization. Furthermore, along with the accordance of proper guidelines of the administration,
the organization went through the process of taking action in making the event happen. The
activity was proposed to be held on September 20, 2019 at the Daragang Magayon Hall from
1:00 to 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon

On August 23, 2019, the project heads provided the requirements in the form of all the
papers that is needed for the activity and all are as follows; letter addressed to Vice-President for
Academic Affairs, Madam Susana C. Cabredo, EdD through the Director of Office of Student
Services Sir Jesus A. Barizo, LLB, another is the Project proposal which is composed of the list
of organizers, detailed program flow and breakdown of expenses. Other papers are included that
correspond to the requirements of the Office of Student Services which are the; letter of
invitation, excuse letter for the students who are participating, letter for the use of civilian in the
said activity, and excuse letters for their respective teacher in subjects that will be affected by the
activity. All other forms were secured for the implementation of the activity such as; form from
the Physical Plant and Facilities Management Office and forms that is needed for the acquired
equipment and materials needed which involves the Budget and Finance, and Purchasing. All
forms and letters are approved and signed by the Program Chair of Medical Technology, Madam
Ma Victoria D. Tuazon and Dean of College of Health Sciences Madam Athena G. Masip, RN,
MAN. All forms were submitted and processed in the respective offices. Approval and
signatories were accomplished in the Month of September.

As the activity was closing in, the organization decided to reschedule the said activity for
the reason that there were other papers needing more time to be processed which is caused by the
delays of the project heads in processing the papers in the appropriate dates. In this reason, a
form was filled up given by the Office of Planning and Development and all information was
provided by the Project heads to conform to the requirements needed. The original date was
moved to November 15, 2019 to avoid the quiet days of the students and better preparation.

On November 15, 2019, as the activity was conducted, it is described that it was
interactive enough for the 2nd year Medical Technology students and some 1st years who
attended, that it was an interactive and fun activity. Quizzes and games were given along with
the prizes that are given to the people who won and deserved to be applauded in their
outstanding participation.

It was evident that there was a great camaraderie and strategies was made, along with the
intelligence and skill of our Medical technology students all throughout the event. Everything
was worth all the effort in regards with the activity and the whole organization celebrates for the
accomplishment of it.
