2nd Grade Newsletter
2nd Grade Newsletter
Thank you for your patience regarding remote learning. We are doing our best to
help all families implement a structure that will work well specifically for you. CPS
came out with the official Q
4 Grading Policy and we have summarized the most
important elements below:
● Students completing work consistently will receive a letter grade NO
LOWER than their Q3 grade.
● If a student is currently receiving a letter grade which is lower than their
third quarter grade, it will be changed to a “pass” for the fourth quarter.
● Any student who is unable to complete remote learning for the fourth
quarter will receive an “incomplete”.
We will use the following assignments to grade student work:
Reading: Keep up the reading an hour a day- this can be a combination
of Independent reading + Epic/Raz Kids. Look for assigned books on Raz
Kids or Epic for small group/book club work. I will be checking for
student progress and looking at quiz reports on those sites. R
