GEC221 EXPECTED ACTIVITIES

1. Weekly module - It contains lectures, formative and Summative assessments. It will be

posted in edmodo classroom.

Your task is to write all activities in any clean sheet of paper or may print it then submit it with
plastic envelope (for the safety of your paper). That's only on your first submission not all the
time.

In your plastic envelope put a page or paper that contains your Full name, Subject and
Section, year and course, contact no. And your current address.

2. Weekly attendance - as usual, attendance will be checked once a week equivalent to 15

points every checking. That is thru Facebook either messenger or group page depending on
the accessible one.

3. Synchronous meeting - Every third week of the month we will be having a synchronous
meeting thru Google meet. You are all required to participate and vacant your time for that
because that is 50 points every meeting and will be recorded in the oral recitation (class
participation). This surely will not be a burden because it will happen once a month.

BTW, in that synchronous meeting there will be a question and answer portion (oral
recitation).

4. Monthly Meranao powerbank - This is an integrated activity in our subject, take it as a bunos
due to its easiness. This is a 10-20% of our grading system (Requirement 10% and Values 10%).

FYI, Meranao Powerbank is very exciting task. You will be grouped into 6 members per
group. Every group will be assigned to only one English Alphabet, you will search a Meranao
language (it may be old or new one), you will give its meaning in English and Filipino. Don't
worry every member of the group shall be assigned to a particular task. In one month at least 300
Meranao words. Just prepare.

(For more details I'll just give you a discussion of it).

5. Video presentation- At most one video presentation task will be given to you every 2 weeks
but not all time or not certain it may not also be happened depending on our time. This is for
assessment purpose.

6. Major exams - as we all know, still we are required to have exam for assessment.

FYI, we don't have prelim exam due to late start of our classes but I'll be basing the grade your
prelim exam from here;

A. Submission all assessment in our module 50 points.

B. Attending all monthly synchronous meeting 80 points.

C. Submission of all monthly Meranao powerbank 65 points.

For midterm and final exam, it is either oral or written exam.

7. Others may be identified soon but not certain.
