The 20th century had seen the radical changes in Operations Management. There have
been new philosophies, models and practices in producing goods and operating services
in all fields of business, which have helped organisations to develop and achieve a lot of
success, for example:

- Just – in – time (JIT)

- Lean manufacturing

- Total quality management (TQM)

- Kaizen

- Total productive maintenance (TPM)

- 5Ss

- Reengineering business processes (RBP)

- Supply chain management

Choose one of the models which you are interested in most, then discuss about it (content
of the model, advantages and disadvantages). You are also required to find out one
enterprise or business which has applied the model and got success in their field, then
introduce them.
