Course objectives:

To get students acquainted with what management is in the first place, the history of management
thinking, basics of Organisational structure and Organisational culture with specific focus on the
interrelationship between national culture and corporate culture, what role they play in intercultural
management, through interactive lectures and seminars.
The objectives also include analysing change and change management issues in today’s complex and
dynamic business world with special focus on conflict situations and conflict management strategies
to help students cope with challenging situations in their future business careers .

75% exam, 15% end term test, 10% presence at lectures, activity at seminars

No more than maximum two absences are allowed from seminars, even if the absences are
