Classroom Management

Plan
In my class I use a “clip chart” which is what is used to determine
how your student’s day at school went. Each student will be given
a clip to with their name on it. Everyday the students will start on
the color blue (ready to learn). Throughout the day the students
have a choice to move either up or down on the clip chart
depending on their behavior and participation. The color they
land on at the end of the day will let parents know what kind of
day their student had at school. There will be a behavior calendar
sent home everyday showing the color their student had for the
day to be signed by parent or guardian.

Below are the colors given and what each one

means.

Star Student– student was helpful to

others. Participated in all assignments. Went
above and beyond in their classroom today!

Excellent– Student made great choices

and stayed on task throughout the day.

Good– Student came in ready to learn and

made good choices throughout the day.
Warning- Student had to be reminded or
warning about classroom behavior.

Parent Contact- Student was

warned or reminded about classroom behavior
but did not want to make better choices. Student
will go home with behavior report needed to be
signed by parent/guardian.
