 Acacia and Kudus:

 Acacia is a tree and kudus is an animal (antepole).

 One days there were sudden death of 3000 kudu animals. Investigation has started to find out the
reason. During research scientist found that if the larger number of kudus is feeding the leaves of
Acacia tree the number of deaths is more, and if smaller number of kudus are feeding the Acacia
tree’s leaves there is no death.

 After number of case studies and research scientist found about the unique property of Acacia
tree. Scientist found that if a greater number of kudus are feeding the leaves of the Acacia (a tree)
It produces high doses of tannin in their foliage to protect itself (Acacia tree) from dying. Which is
the reason of kudu’s death.

 Also, it informs other Acacia tree of danger by releasing ethylene from it which can travel up to
50m yards. Other tree sudden take action and start realizing tannin in its foliage and start sending
signal in form of ethylene within its 50m yards to inform other trees.
