Dear Sir/ Madam,

My name is Samantha Forman. I a fourth form student at Wesley College. I am writing this letter
because at Wesley College I am studying business include office administration. And for my
office administration school base assessment (SBA). I had chosen Human Resource Management
and I had chosen Belize Tourism Board to be a part of my school base assessment (SBA).

I am requesting permission to conduct a research on the department that deals with Human
Resource Management in the business. This in order me to complete my office administration
school base assessment (SBA). The information will help me to receive and improve grade. I
request to take the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate Examination.

The research will be useful questionnaires and also interview some of the worker who works
under the Human Resource Department to gather the information for the worker. The

Methodology

As the source of primary data, questionnaire and interview sessions were conducted

Questionnaire

Twenty (20) questionnaires were handed out, and five (5) was given to each person to complete
the questionnaire, ensuring that each person received sufficient time to complete it. This method
was used because the questionnaire is more time efficient because respondents can complete the
questions in their own time. Also, more information will be obtained from the questionnaires
because respondents tend to be nervous in interview

Interview

The interview took 10-15 minutes and total amount of questions that was asked was five (5).
This method was used because it gives immediate feedback and more in-depth information will
be collected. It is also a convenient way of communication which is useful for individual
discussion.

In any business there are rules and regulation governing the business, workers, visitors, its
activities and its consumers. The following are the rule and regulations governing this

WRITTEN REPORT

The business I chose is Belize Tourism Board. Because they featured qualified staff that are train
to administer different task assigned. And observed that the business lack proper communication.
It also observed that employees would have to leave their work station to go to employees or
department. Whenever needed to interact with other employees concerning confidential matters
in the business. I have benefited greatly from the interview along with questionnaire. The
investigation conducted show that major functions were attending to staff welfare, deploying as
well as recruiting workers, administer training to staff and conducting interview. The Belize
Tourism Board attend to staff welfare by engaging in activities that help to produce an
environment that protects, promote and support the health and wellbeing of employee in an
organization. They are also involved in ‘Deployment’ where workers are deployed so that they
perform business activities that they were skilled to administer. Furthermore recruiting workers
is done with the intention of selecting qualified persons from interview to fill vacancies. Form
my research I had use three question from my questionnaires.
