Hassan El Fad is a gifted Moroccan actor and humorist. He was

born in Casablanca on 24th November 1962. His hometown,
Casablanca, was his main source of inspiration and his sense of humor
as it enabled him to have innovative ideas and to create unusual
characters. He is famous for his humor and comedy shows. He was
raised in a family of musicians. So, he was
doomed to love music.

In 1970s, when Hassan was only sixteen, he took classes at the

Conservatory of Music and Theatre in Casablanca. After passing his
Baccalaureate, he moved to Rabat, where he studied plastic arts. There
he soon discovered his love for music, namely the saxophone. Later, his
Spanish teacher, Eduard de Gomez, asked him to join his Jazz band, and he started performing in
nightclubs. El Fad also worked as an interior designer.

It is only in late 1999 that Hassan El fad started his career as a humorist. His first one-man
show which was called "Ninja" was very successful. After the success of Ninja, El Fad
specialized in doing serial comic shows such as Chaîne Ci BiBi (2001), Canal 36 (2003), and
Chanily TV (2005). On-stage in 2005 El Fad presented a new one-man show Docteur Escargot
"Doctor Snail"

It is "Yarit", film of Hassan Benjelloun that launches his film career. But it is with "Fabula"
a short film by Chraïbi Omar that Hassan won the award of the Best Short Film Actor at the 5th
national film festival. He also plays in "Destin de femme" by
Hakim Noury.

In 2013, Hassan El Fad and Dounia Boutazout starred in a

three-minute hilarious show on 2M TV channel: The couple,
“Lcouple”. It was the most watched show broadcast during
Ramadan. Yassine,a 17-year-old youngster says : “I love
“Lcouple” – I always feel happier after having a good laugh.”
