Presentation (Pre): 20 minutes

In this lesson, we will learn to use the prepositions "in-on-at"


which indicate time and place. They mean the position or
proximity of an object, animal or person in relation to something

We will use:
_ 'in' to refer to a nonspecific time of day, month, season or year or
when we talk about places: to indicate a location or place.

_ “on” when we talk about time, it is used for specific dates and days.

Of places, it is used when we are talking about a surface. Something


is on the surface of something else.

_ “at”, In English, when we talk about time, 'at' when we talk about
time, it is used for a specific time.
When we talk about places, it is used to indicate a specific place

Practice (While): 25 minutes


With an interactive whiteboard, the photocopies (Appendix 1)*.
And a narration made by the teacher, each student works with a
partner and they practice the use of prepositions through
dialogues and questions in simple present. Students can make
use of the materials they find nearby such as chairs, tables, etc.
Production (post): 30 minutes

Students will write two sentences for each preposition, using as


examples, elements of the classroom, stories of their own
experiences and descriptions, for this activity they can make use
of the dictionary. When this process is finished the students will
represent the created sentences in front of the rest (it can be
with body language, mimic, drawings, singing, etc.)
